Dragons Inn

Dragons Inn can be found at the heart of an interdimensional town called Crossroads. Crossroads is accesible through portals that can be found on most worlds, although they are well hidden and rarely used.

Dragons Inn is the towns tavern and Inn. There is always room in the Inn, not to mention species from plaents most of us have never heard of. Magic users, Warriors, Thieves, Merchants, and strangers abound.

This is a role play topic. I can post a desciption of Crossroads if people like, I just copied it.

I would encourage people who want to participate to develop a character seperate from the one that they use in the PATD.

This is a place for people to meet and go off on quests. The sky is the limit, sicne there are portals on every world.

Bacchus finished polishing the bar. He was baffeled by how slow business had been. It had been a while since he had seen Benjamin, but that was not a surprise. Margo was back in town and she was a handful. Still, the lack of activity was unusual.

While waiting for people to trickle in he had polished all the glasses, restocked the bar, cleaned the tables, chairs, and bar twice. A new chandelier had been ordered and hung.

The tavern door slammed. Bacchus turned to see Kaitlyn storming, her face a violent orange.

"Do I want to know what happened?"

Kaitlyn grimaced "Margo"

"Ahhhhh" Bacchus accepted the one word answer for what it was "She is a handful."

Kaitlyn sighed as she reached for the drink Bacchus placed before her "that she is. But she is learning."

Trying not to laugh, Bacchus smiled "And that is a good thing, right?"

There was such a quietness in the air that when a low hum started 30 seconds ago, Bacchus and Kaitlyn both ducked for cover.

In a flash, a figure wearing an ancient robe and looking might dishoveled, materialized in the middle of the floor. He then staggered to his feet.

Bacchus simply looked at the man and his jaw dropped. Kaitlyn looked back and forth between Bacchus and the stranger.

The stranger slowly walked toward Bacchus , stumbling once, and blrry eyed...mumbled "Bachussssssand fell into his arms before passing out.

"By the gods, LANDREW! I thought I would never see YOU again was all Bacchus would say before carrying him upstairs and placing him in bed.

When Baccus returned...it was all he could do to slow down all the questions that Kaitlyn had. As soon as Bacchus mentioned the word "Founder" to her...she became mesmarized.

Bacchus had spent better then an hour answering Kaitlyn's questions about Landrew before he grew weary of the excersize (sp). It had been a long time since he had even thought about the events that had lead to the founding of Crossroads, never mind discussed it with anyone.

He ended the conversation with a smile and the words "It was a long time ago. A very long time ago."

Kaitlyn knew she would get no more info from Bacchus. With Her face having returned to its normal color, she left the tavern to find Benjamin.

Dolpher after being away finding his own way for several years returns to Dragon's Inn to find his Mentor and Father figure Sindatur nowhere in sight.

Upon entering he speaks with Bacchus and asks about the wizened old owl and Bacchus informs him that Sindatur fell in love, became a nice guy doing magic to cheer up his friends, and moved into the PATD.

"This will never do. My Master would never allow himself to be reduced to Parlor tricks. I must reclaim my master's priorities of old and set him back upon our questing."

Sindatur and Blair appear in Dragon's Inn with a puff of smoke.

"Master, you've returned to me, thank you. What do we do now."

Sindatur looks at Dolpher a little cross-eyed, whips up a potion, drinks it and becomes 100% coherent.

"Well for starters boy, I need to stop drinking. What has become of the rest of our group, Alon, Delmarg, Credan and Tay and their pet humans Endel and Shayla, J-Boy, and the Vampiress."

"Well Master I have heard stories recently of Anya, Alon and Delmarg. The rest seem to have vanished from the face of existence"

aside: I definately think if a "quest" is created, that it should definately start under a subtopic.
